Loaning Money To Bloggers

Yeesh, for a minute there I actually wondered if it could have been me ("This lady was always broke and was always behind on her bills"), but I have a strong "do not borrow money from friends" policy for exactly the reasons you stated. Well, I hope for her sake, to clear her conscience and make good with a friend, she coughs up what she owes you because taking the $$ and running ain't no right way to be.

Dude, I'm sorry to hear that. I know you had to try a lot to even post this post. I'm with Erica's mindset. I never want there to be that confusion amongst those that are supposed to be friends. Hope you get it resolved soon.

Cat, Hope you back is better. We had a lovely weekend here in the Delta.

I have a house that I tried to help a friend out by letting her rent it (really cheap) and she didn't come through with any money either, left the place in a mess also.

You just can't be nice to people any more.

I have half an idea who this is. She was always begging for cash and help on her blog to go to the blog conventions and what not.

Anyone asking for money from blogs is just trouble....

I'm thinking it is the same woman that our departed friend Rob helped and placed in his trust only to have her violate that trust and tell tales.

Darn, I hate to hear that, I'm like you, if I help it's a gift, loans are a different matter. I have an ex in law who's into me for $2400, I'd rather he owe it than have him around asking for another loan.It's been 20 years of peace in the family.:) Like you, I caught my cape on take off a few days ago, didn't make the launch in a single bound either, the back is murder. I have an inversion table that gets used daily, it unloads the lumbar and eases the pain. It's that or the painkillers and I don't like taking meds. I hope your back gets better soon. Incidentally, how's your brother doing?

Jack, my brother, Thomas, is doing very well. Both of his doctors released him a few weeks ago. Pretty damn good for a man that only has four weeks to live.

It's been near two years ago that the wife's uncle waited until after Thanksgiving for his bypass surgery, he successfully came through the operation, when the nurses propped him up to make him more comfortable and he bled out internally. Blame? It's too late for that.

I find that doctors are not as great as they put on. I took meds for years that my current doctor asked 'why did he prescribe that for you' once off that crap I feel like I'm amongst the living again.

Cat I'm sorry to hear that anyone would screw a good guy like you this way. I'm betting that this person is probably one of them Liberals that thinks they are entitled to other folks' money just because they make more than she does.

She redistributed the wealth so to speak. Shared the pie. The problem is the pie was not hers to share.

You can look for a lot more of this if Obama the JugFuck gets elected. Chalk it up to experience bud and remember, your good friends and good family would never ask for a loan or accept a loan.

I've been poor, hungry and homeless at times in my younger days. I'd rather die than ask a friend or family member for money. There is not a person in the world that can't work day labor to get by until they get on their feet. Borrowing from friends and family is downright immoral in my book.

Been there too many times with blodgers. If I offer to cover their ass...that is a gift...I'm a decent man...if they say they'll pay me back...that is a loan. Been screwed more than once. Pisses me off to no end...assholes.

I don't know how much money you loaned this person, but no good will come of revealing her identity for revenge. Take it as a lesson, and look at it as the cost you paid to never have to associate with her again.

That is easy for you to say. I am alot like the others, I give money away, but a loan is a loan and should be paid back. I will post her name on this blog and others also. Just to let her friends know what type of person she is. I will give her a few more days to pay me or at least call or email me, then shit hits the fan.

Hell man... owed money is tough money. You deserve it paid back because you loaned it to someone that obviously needed it at the time trying to help them out. It sucks.

I just posted her name. I have tried many times to call and email her. She never got back to me. Plus, the last tine I talked with her, she said that she still owed me 300.00 and she would pay me soon, that was a year ago.
